Billing FAQ's
What happens if I don’t use all the allocated e-mails during the month?
If you do not send all your allocated e-mails within the month then they will be rolled over to the following month.
Example
John is on a 1,000 per month e-mail package. He has only sent 800 e-mails during the month of March…This means that he is able to send 1200 e-mails for the month of April if he so wishes.
What happens if I send more than my allocated e-mails during the month?
If you send more than the specified e-mails per month there are 2 options
Option 1
Your monthly fee remains the same and you pay per e-mail for sends over and above your normal e-mail package.
Example
Jean is on a 2500 per month e-mail package. She has sent 3000 e-mails for the month of September. On top of her monthly fee of £85 there will be an additional fee of 500 x 3.4 pence = £17 to be paid. These balancing payments are normally invoiced quarterly*.
Option 2
You can upgrade to the next e-mail package level
Example
If Jean was to send 5,000 e-mails but was on a 2,500 per month e-mail package then using Option 1 above would incur a charge of £85 monthly fee plus 2500 x 3.4 pence = £85. In total this would cost £170, therefore it would be better to upgrade to the 5,000 e-mail package which would cost £150, saving £20.
Ok so if I increase my e-mail send I can upgrade my package but what if im paying by standing order?
You can either increase the level of the standing order. If this is delayed or the timing does not match the increase in e-mail send we will invoice you for the balance.
What are the methods of payment?
Thomas Cole accepts Standing orders, Internet Banking, Cheque, Debit and Credit card payments.
*For larger e-mail sends we reserve the right to bill on a monthly basis rather than quarterly.
